1
Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Paro International Airport. Transfer to Thimphu (2,320 meters, 2 hours)

This is the very first day of our trip to Bhutan. Quite early in the morning you will be taking the flight from Kathmandu to Paro. Because each and every international flight journey to Bhutan begins from Paro. It is one of the sole international airport of Bhutan.

When there is a clean and clear weather with blue sky you’ll get to witness some of the highest peaks in the world on your flight. You will get to witness mountain You’ll see Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Kanchenjunga during the flight. You’ll also see two beautiful mountains of Bhutan, Chomolhari and Jitchu Drake.surrounding peaks on the flight to and from Bhutan.

Once you reach Bhutan and land at the airport of Paro . For your welcome your guide and driver for the trip will be waiting for you at the waiting section of the airport . Here your driver will transfer you to your Thimphu . It will take around 2 hour to reach there.Once here, depending on the itinerary plans you have you will involve in different for the rest of the day.

People often choose to spend time indoors pampering their body and mind. Some can spend the time in a spa, steam baths, meditation or just relaxing in the comforts of your room.

Else, you can choose to tour some of the other must-visit places not covered in Day 2 of the tour. Or, you can simply indulge in some adventure activities. And you can simply explore Thimphu city .

Day 2:Thimphu Sightseeing. Drive to Punakha (1,242 meters, 3 hours)

Today we will be going to Punakha which is 74km away from Thimphu, and it’ll take 3 hours to reach there. After breakfast you’ll do sightseeing around Thimphu first

You’ll visit some beautiful places in the city, like Memorial Chortens, Buddha Point, and the National Library of Bhutan. The Memorial Chortens is a unique chorten as it symbolizes the Buddha’s brain instead of housing the dead bodies. Also, the National Library gives you the idea of preserved Bhutanese culture.

And finally After having a lunch, you’ll take a drive from Thimphu to Punakha. En route, you’ll stop at Dochula Pass (3,100 meters) to visit 108 Memorial Chortens established by the Queen of Bhutan. From here, you’ll see some incredible panorama of mountains, including the highest mountain of Bhutan, Mt. Gangkar Puensum and Mt. Masanggang at 7,194 meters (23,602 ft).

Day 3: Sightseeing at Punakha. Drive Back to Paro (150 km, 5 hours)

Today is Third day of your amazing Bhutan. On this day, today we you’ll explore beautiful places of Punakha, some famouse place such as Punakha Dzong, Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers, and the bamboo village at Wangdiphodrang. Moreover, the paddy farmlands at Punakha during June and July are worth a visit and very mesmerizing view.

Moreover, you’ll also visit Chhimi Lhakhang, a temple believed to grace couples with fertility. People who don’t have kids due to infertility worship this temple and pay their visit.

After lunch at Punakha, you’ll return to Paro via Dochula Pass. Here, on December 13, Bhutanese Army Dochula Druk Wangyel Tshechu. Instead of monks and locals, the Army especially celebrates this festival to honor their victory in the Himalayas.

During winter, the Dochula Pass and Memorial Chorten get covered in snow. You’ll have a fantastic time returning from Punakha to Paro on this day

Day 4 :Sightseeing around Paro. Hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery) (3,120 meters, 5 hours)

Today is day 4 of your Bhutan Tour. The major activities of today’s trek is to hike Tiger’s Nest. It hold the Greatness of Bhutanese Buddhism.It’s a Buddhist monastery on a sheer cliff which is situated at the height of 800m on a mountain. . Guru Rimpoche (Padhmasamvava, the second Buddha) was the first to meditate in the cave near this monastery. Later, as he came on top of a tiger, the legend of the tiger made this place known better as Tiger’s Nest.

This monastery is one of the cultural icon of Bhutan. To reach there,from paro you have to hike for three hours. The hiking trail is kinda easy to moderate. If you find walking difficult, you’ve option to hire a horse as well. Which will cost USD 20 per person.

In about five hours this hike will come to end. Afterward you’ll return to Paro where you’ll have lunch and rest at your hotel in paro.

Meanwhile in a mid-time you’ll visit the local market and Paro Dzong.
You’ll stay overnight in Paro

Day 5 : Departure from Paro International Airport

Today is the day 5th day. Finally it is the last day of your beautiful Bhutan tour. Early in the morning after having your breakfast you’ll be transferring to the airport from your hotel based on your flight schedule.

You’ll get flights from Paro to Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, and Kathmandu.

If you wish to fly to Nepal and do some trekking, climbing and other outdoor activities.
