Itinerary of Annapurna Circuit Trek

01
Day 1:- Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Nepal

You will be welcomed with a bookie at the arrival section at the only running International airport here in Nepal i.eTribhuwan International Airport. You will be dropped off at your respective hotel by our staff guide. On the same day as per your wish, our guide staff will help you explore the historical and religious places here in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu Valley

It’s your second day here in Nepal where you will be taken to visit the most visited tourist places here in the valley including Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar square, Swayambhunath, and many other places that are listed in World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. On the same day, you will do some shopping to prepare yourself for the Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Day 3: Drive to Beisahar and trek to Bulbule

Early in the morning, we begin our journey to our dream destination by bus from Kathmandu to Besisahar. The distance is slightly 180 km from Kathmandu and will take 5.5 hours to reach Besisahar. We will cherish the beauty of the great greenery Himalayas along with the never stopping river. After we reach Besisahar, we will be hiking for about two hours until we reach the final destination of the day. We will stay a night in a local guest house near to Maryasangdiriver in Bulbule.

Day 4: Trek to Chamje

The fourth day of your Nepal visit will be the first day of the trek where will be heading to Chamje passing several suspension bridges. Walking through the bank of Marsyangdiriver gives a vibe of positivity. We walk with ease through the sub-tropical forest, waterfall, and many paddy farms on the way. We will spend the night at Chamje a local homestay.

Day 5: Hike from Chamje to Bagarchhap

We will be ascending to Bagarchhap passing the valleys, and rhododendron, pine, and bamboo forest. We will cross a bridge that takes us to the top allowing us to see the mesmerizing range of mountains making the green valley. We will walk through the route to reach the village of Tal. The farmers growing paddy, potato, and other crops will be strange for you as the altitude is more than 2000m from the sea level. Playing the game of hide and seek with nature, we finally reach Bagarchhap which is the ultimate destination of the day.

Day 6: Trek to Chame

We begin our hike early in the morning with the rising sun through Danague village stepping up to reach the culturally decorated Tamang village representing Buddhist culture and their social practices. This trek will not only experience you through the deep aspects of nature but also takes you to the cultural unity in several places. We need to follow the gradual path to Thanchowk, Kolo, and finally, reach Chame.

Chame lies at an exciting elevation of 2710 meter above sea level which is locally known as headquarter for the Manang district. This village was badly affected by an avalanche that occurred in the year 2015. Chame carries unique cultural aspects, lakes, glaciers, and one of the World’s highest passes. This beautiful heaven suffers the least rainfall in the country.

Day 7: Hike to Pisang

We continue ascending with the first sunshine of the day leaving the Chame village behind us. We will be climbing to Telekhu just after passing the older part of Chame following the trail to the forest. Crossing the south belt of Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge, we walk gently over a pine forested ridge later finally reaching Pisang. Pisang is the ultimate destination for the day where we will be spending the night in a local homestay enjoying the local Pahari food.

Day 8: Trek to Manang

Manang stands tall at an elevation of 3540 m where people of Tibetan culture are mostly observed. As the chances of rainfall are zero, most of the houses don’t have roofs. They just have the four walls carved with stone and a stony-made roof. The interesting thing about Manang is that the people living here have preserved their ancient traditions for a long time.

Day 9: Acclimatization in Manang

Manang is also known for the proverb “ HimalParikoDesh” meaning “Country on the other side of Mountains” as it is surrounded by big peaks from each side. There is an uncountable number of places that a tourist wants to visit in Manang. However, the major attraction is the socio-cultural practices they perform during the special occasion. Manang is the real-life heaven that is spiritually connected to the soul of every nature enthusiast.

Day 10: Trek to Yak Kharka

As we took to rest the previous day, we will regain the stamina to head towards the Yak Kharka. We move near tall trees reaching meadows where several Yak and Himalayan horses will be grazing in the field. This place is suitable to spend the night.

Day 11 Hike to ThorungPhedi

After the first glimpse of the sun kissing our eyes, we start our hike to Letdar acclimatizing to the altitude. Gently we ascend along the JarangKhola finally reaching a meadow surrounded by verticle cliffs i.eThorungPhedi. This is perfect to take a deep breath and relax a night.

Day 12: Pass over Thorung La pass and Muktinath

Today is a busy day the trekking as we will be hiking for more than 8 hours continuously. However, the trail will be easier and wider if the wind won’t blow on the trekking day. The route that we will be walking is been used for hundreds of years to trade sheep and yaks in and out of the Manang. We will reach Thorung La in about 6 hours of a regular walk. You will feel the satisfaction of reaching Thorung La as from here you will get to witness the beautiful view of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and the eye-aspiring Khatungkang peak.  Muktinath is considered one of the most important and powerful pilgrimages in Hindu mythology. It is said that taking bath at Muktinath will clean all your sins that you did in this life.  On the same day, you will get a golden opportunity to glorify your life worshipping the god of salvation.

Day 13: Trek to Jomson through Kagbeni

After taking blessings from Muktinath temple, we will be heading towards Jomson descending through the meadow to reach Kagbeni. We will explore the old village and arrange to spend a night in Jomson. To reach Jomson, we need to pass the Kagbeni which lies in Kali Gandaki Valley.

Day 14: Drive to Tatopani- Place for hot water spring

We go through the road of Marpha and Kalopani through the trail near Chokhopani village. Chokhopani village is a traditionally recognized Thakali village in the Manang district. On the way, we will be witnessing the panoramic views of whitish snowcapped peaks including Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Annapurna, and many other peaks falling in this mountain range. Crossing over a river, we will finally reach Kalopani for the day.

Day 15: Trek to Ghorepani

Ghorepani is situated at an altitude of 2750 m and can be reached through the routes of Pokhara as well. Hiking along the routes of Tatopani will be one of the most memorable things for you as we will get to see greenery hills, forest, and red flowering Rhododendron decorated village on the way. You can also observe much local vegetation done by locals over there hiking on the way. We will rest at Ghorepani for the day.

Day 16: Gorepani-Poonhill-Nayapul trek and Drive to Pokhara

Today will be the most traveling day as we will be hiking from Ghorepani to Poohill following Nayapul and finally reaching pokhara by bus or local jeep. Early in the morning, we hike on the dewed grass of Poonhill witnessing the sunrise of the day. A ray of light kissing the beautiful whitish peak and peaks laughing and turning to red is the most alluring magical moment of the trek.

From Poonhill, you can observe the beautiful scenery of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range also known as the photographer’s paradise. We will trek for 5 more hours to reach Nayapul and then finally catch the taxi to reach Pokhara.

Day 17: Return to Kathmandu through a 35-minute flight

You will directly fly back to the capital city from Pokhara Domestic airport. You will be taken to your hotel where you can rest for the day. It will be the last day in Nepal so you may prepare all your requirement within a day

Day 18: Fly back to your home country

After experiencing a life-changing trek to Annapurna Circuit trek it’s time to say bye-bye at the departure section at Tribhuwan International Airport. We will thank you with a token of love wishing you a happy future ahead.
