This trek will give opportunity to experience the very typical Nepali village, local people and their way of living as a local in cold Himalaya of Nepal. Itinerary of Annapurna Base camp
Day 1:- Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Nepal
You will be welcomed with a bookie at the arrival section at the only running International airport here in Nepal i.eTribhuwan International Airport. You will be dropped off at your respective hotel by our staff guide. On the same day as per your wish, our guide staff will help you explore the historical and religious places here in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Explore Kathmandu Valley
It’s your second day here in Nepal where you will be taken to visit the most visited tourist places here in the valley including Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar square, Swayambhunath, and many other places that are listed in World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. On the same day, you will do some shopping to prepare yourself for the Annapurna Circuit Trek.
Day 3: Flight/ Drive to Pokhara
It’s your third day in Nepal and you will be flying to Pokhara via a 35-minute flight or bus by road which will ultimately take 8-9 hours of drive from Kathmandu.
We recommend an airplane flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara if you cannot tolerate the nine hours on the bus. But if you are a true nature enthusiast and want to see the greenery and natural mountains of Nepal, you may choose the bus as the best option. We book the tickets for the morning and you will reach at 4-5 PM which will let you see Pokhara city very closely.
Riding on the bus is a very adventurous choice as the roads are very challenging and you may need to hold your seat belt multiple times due to bad roads. The Trishuli river beside the road will be following you all the time on the way to Pokhara.
If you take a flight directly to Pokhara then you will have enough time to explore Pokhara very well. There are tremendous tourist places in Pokhara like Devi’s fall, Mahendra Cave, International Mountain Museum, Fewa Lake, and many uncountable places. You will feel that you came to the city of heaven as you will see many international and national tourists around you.
Day 4: Drive to Phedi and hike to Tolka (1750m),
Today, the journey begins with combination of witnessing the local culture and tradition and great mountain panorama. Our guide will pick you from your hotel at Pokhara and drive to Phedi car/cab, then trek through beautiful village Dhampus – Pothana and trek to Tolka for overnight stay.
Day 5: Trek to Sinuwa (Altitude 2100m)
Trekking from Tolka to Sinuwa (2310m) is today’s plan that takes some 7 hours hike. It is a pleasing trail for the beginning and then gradual down to Modi Khola after Landruk then cross impressive and big suspension bridge at Jhinu Danda then steep climb up to Chhomrong, Chhomring is another grand Gurung village. From this village, you will trek down to the river and will climb again to Sinuwa. If the weather is pleasant, you will enjoy nice stunning Mountain vista, overnight at Lodge
Day 6:Trek to Deurali (Altitude 3230m)
Today we will pass through dense jungle and explore mountain. The mountain in this zone is believed to be sacred and holy. As it is already believed that Annapurna means “full of food” (feminine form), but is normally translated as Goddess of the Harvests. Our Mother Nature, create peaceful and calm surroundings. After walking for some hour we will reach Deurali where we will Stay overnight at lodge
Day 7:Trek to Annapurna Base Camp Elevation 4130m
Today we will finally reach to our destination the main highlight of this trek Annapurna Base camp. Above Deurali the valley widens and becomes less steep. While walking we will reach at staircase here We should not stop in this possible dangerous place for long time. This place is warned of avalanche so continue trek ahead with aware until you get to safe place. We will continue walking by exploring white mountain and dense Forest. The trail turns to the left in the valley after Machhapuchhre Base Camp and it is pleasant walk up ABC though the air is thinner now. It is reccomended not rush and walk gently because we are walking in high altitude place. Now you can see the one of best 360˙degree Mountain View in world from Base Camp. From here you’ll get panaromic view of Mount Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) 6997m and several other wonderful peaks. Stay overnight at lodge Annapurna Base camp.
Day 8:Trek down to Dovan – Bamboo (2310m)
Today after exploring panaromic Mountain view and after having breakfast we will gradually descend and trek down to Dovan or Bamboo via Machpucchre Base Camp . After then we will reach Dovan and Stay overnight at lodge
Day 9:Trek to Ghandruk (1940m)
Today after having breakfast we will gradually ascend up during 30 minute we will pass through pleasant jungle and walk up to Sinuwa then we will gradually descend down to Chhumrung Khola and walk up long stone staircase up upper Chhomrung then walk toward komrong khola and up to a small pass called Komrong Danda and then some 30 minutes walk to Ghandruk.we will stay Overnight in lodge.
Day 10: Drive back to Pokhara
Today After having breakfast we will trek to Siwai for 1 hours and from Siwai then we will take local jeep / bus as per your choice . After about 3 to 4 hours drive we reach in Pokhara. And you are choice to take flight to Kathmandu or drive depending on your time. We will stay overnight in hotel in Pokhara.
Day11:Drive back to Kathmandu
It’s the last day at the city of heaven, Pokhara as we will take a flight and back to the capital city. You may take a bus if you want to watch the ground beauty of the routes. The bus will take another 9 long hours to reach Kathmandu.
If you are unwell or you are tired of a long hike then you may take a flight that will eventually take you to Kathmandu in less than 45 Minutes.
Day12:Back to your home country
We will thank you with a token of love and farewell from the departure section of Tribhuwan International Airport. We will be glad if we get more chances to see you the real face of Nepal.
